Vidushi Ramya Shastry is a dedicated Bharatanatyam artist and guru with nearly two decades of immersive experience in Indian classical dance. She is a senior disciple of the esteemed Guru Karnataka Kalashree Smt. Minal Prabhu, under whose guidance she continues to refine her art. Ramya Shastry holds a Master's degree in Fine Arts (Dance) from Bharathidasan University and has successfully completed the Vidwat certification in India. She has performed on prestigious platforms across India and New Jersey. Currently based in Seattle, she serves as the Artistic Director of Shivakanya Natyalaya, where she passionately mentors aspiring dancers. She also offers Bharatanatyam classes for children and adults in Mill Creek, aiming to preserve and propagate the cultural heritage of Bharatanatyam among the next generation.
