Revathi Narasimhan is a distinguished classical dancer and guru of Bharatanatyam, based in Bangalore, India. She commenced her training in Bharatanatyam at a very young age under the tutelage of Smt. Kausalya, specializing in the Vazhuvoor style of dancing. She performed her Arangetram at the age of nine. Throughout her career, Revathi Narasimhan has presented numerous recitals across India and internationally at prestigious venues. With nearly four decades of experience in classical dance training, she has significantly contributed to the art form as a dedicated teacher. She is the founder of Natya Niketan, a prominent Bharatanatyam academy in Bangalore, where she imparts her knowledge and expertise to aspiring dancers. Many of her students have achieved recognition, becoming Doordarshan artists. Beyond teaching, she actively participates in her disciples' performances by rendering Nattuvangam on esteemed platforms. Revathi Narasimhan has also served as a member of evaluation panels for various prestigious institutions, further solidifying her standing in the classical dance community.
