Rupal Gandhi is a Kathak dancer and teacher, known for her dedication to the Indian classical dance form. She received training and inspiration from the legendary Kathak maestro, Pandit Birju Maharaj. Gandhi is the founder or leader of "Classic Creations By Rupal Gandhi," an institution through which she promotes and teaches dance. Her work includes performing Kathak, choreographing pieces, and conducting workshops in various dance styles, including Kathak, Bollywood, and Indian folk art forms like Garba. She has performed choreography by the Sujata Banerjee Dance Company and participated in events such as the Janmashtami Mela. Beyond classical Kathak, Gandhi has also engaged with contemporary dance forms, having participated in workshops hosted by Farah Khan's team (Geeta Kapoor, Feroz Khan) around 2003, and later meeting Farah Khan in 2023. She is actively involved in community dance initiatives, leading workshops and performances that aim to engage and entertain audiences.
