Guru Selvi S.N. Sai Pooja is an accomplished Bharatanatyam exponent, choreographer, and the visionary Founder & Artistic Director of Shree Sai Ram Classical Academy. Her profound understanding of Bharatanatyam stems from rigorous training under the esteemed guidance of Dr. Girija Murugan, Dr. Sumathi Sundar, and Dr. Chinnamanur Chitra. Complementing her practical expertise, Guru S.N. Sai Pooja holds a comprehensive academic background, including a Diploma in Bharatanatyam, a B.A. in Dance, an M.F.A. in Dance, and a B.E. She has also undertaken advanced training in Nattuvangam, a crucial rhythmic accompaniment in Bharatanatyam, further solidifying her mastery of the art form. Beyond her role as an artistic director, Guru S.N. Sai Pooja has contributed to formal dance education, having served as a Guest Lecturer in the Department of Bharatham at the Tamil Nadu Government Music College, Chennai. Her dedication to nurturing talent and preserving the rich traditions of Indian classical dance is evident through Shree Sai Ram Classical Academy, which she established in Chennai, India.
