Sankari Mridha is a dedicated Bharatanatyam artist, performer, teacher, and choreographer based in the United Kingdom. She is recognized for her strong and fine dancing, having been a part of the Nina Rajarani Dance Company, performing in their production "Sevens" at The Place Theatre on April 2, 2022. Mridha frequently collaborates with dance partner Vinod Nair, presenting Bharatanatyam duets at various temples and community venues, including a notable recital at The Nehru Centre in London on May 12, 2017. Her commitment to the art form extends to teaching, as she holds regular Bharatanatyam classes in Croydon and also assists Nina Rajarani at her school in Harrow, demonstrating her dedication to nurturing the next generation of dancers. In January 2024, Sankari Mridha further solidified her teaching legacy by founding the Sankari School of Arts, where she serves as the Artistic Director and Teacher. Her artistic journey has been shaped by the guidance of esteemed teachers, including Sri. Shyamjith Kiran Anna and Smt. Viraja akka. Beyond her performances in the UK, she has also performed internationally, notably at the High Commission of India in Kigali.
