Sheela Rajkumar is an Indian actress and Bharatanatyam dancer, born on June 14, 1992, in Jayankondam, Ariyalur, Tamil Nadu, India. She holds a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Bharatanatyam. Rajkumar commenced her artistic career in 2012. Early in her professional life, she was associated with the Chennai-based theatre group Koothu-P-Pattarai, where she actively participated in theatrical arts. While she is widely recognized for her prominent work in Tamil films and television, Sheela Rajkumar is also an active Bharatanatyam dancer and serves as a trainer in the classical dance form. She is known to train young girls in Bharatanatyam. Her filmography includes notable roles in movies such as "Aarathu Sinam" (2016), "To Let" (2019), which received the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Tamil, "Kumbalangi Nights" (2019), "Draupathi" (2020), and "Mandela" (2021). She also played a leading role in the Tamil television serial "Azhagiya Tamil Magal". Despite her significant acting career, her foundation and continued engagement with Bharatanatyam remain a consistent part of her artistic identity.
