Sheetal Kapole Dandekar is an Indian classical dancer, teacher, and choreographer, primarily known for her contributions to Kathak. She is the Director of Lehja Art Foundation, based in Dombivli, India. Through her foundation, she actively performs, teaches, and organizes various dance-related events and competitions. Kapole Dandekar has conceptualized and performed Kathak pieces such as "The Flame of love and Sacrifice," which tells the story of Iraavan from the Mahabharata. She has also presented performances like "Kaliya Daman" and "Kavit" (Poetic Compositions in Kathak) with her students. Her work extends to choreography, as seen in the "Srushtigaan" program where she was responsible for the Kathak choreography.
