Shelley Chhabra is a Kathak dancer, performer, and teacher based in the United States. She has been actively involved in teaching, performing, and training in Kathak since 1998. Chhabra is a student of Gretchen Hayden, who is the founder of the Chhandam Institute of Kathak Dance. She is also notably a member of the first Chhandika Youth Ensemble and maintains a strong association with the Chhandika community. Chhabra teaches at the Chhandam Institute of Kathak Dance (Chhandika) in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Her performances include a poetry-dance drama presented at the 17th Annual Woman of the Year Awards Gala in Burlington, MA, in May 2019, an event organized by INDIA New England News. She has a daughter named Ella Devi Chhabra.
