Shivani Wazir Pasrich is a versatile Indian personality, renowned as an Odissi dancer, actress, master of ceremonies, and social activist. An Economics Honours graduate from Lady Shri Ram College and a Law graduate from Faculty of Law, Delhi University, she has seamlessly blended her diverse talents across various fields. As an Odissi dancer, she has performed classical dance at prestigious venues, including the Indian Embassy in Stockholm, Sweden, Naropa Monastery in Ladakh, and the Canadian Parliamentary Association in New Delhi. Her contributions to Odissi dance have been recognized with an award from the Chief Minister of Delhi. Beyond dance, Shivani Wazir Pasrich has an extensive career in acting, appearing in over five hundred television shows and the National Award-winning film 'Dil To Pagal Hai' by Yash Chopra. She is also a prominent master of ceremonies, having facilitated over a thousand live events. In 1992, she won the Miss India World Wide title. Actively involved in social causes, Shivani works with organizations like the White Ribbon Alliance for safe motherhood, the Delhi Society for the Welfare of Special Children, and Ekatwam – Together for Epilepsy. She founded SWP Productions, a production house dedicated to raising awareness on societal issues through performing arts. Her projects include the play “Draupadi – Will my spirit move on?”, which addresses women's empowerment, and the conservation project “I am the Tiger”. She also directed the film “Girls are Gold” to combat discrimination against the girl child. Awards & Honours: Pride of the Nation (2009), Universal Humanity Award (2013), India Foundation award for excellence in her field, Women Achievers recognition, Best Actress Award, Awarded by the Chief Minister of Delhi for Odissi Dance.
