Sruthi Mohan is an accomplished Indian classical dancer, trained in Bharatanatyam and Mohiniyattam since the age of three. She has performed for diverse international audiences, showcasing her mastery of these traditional art forms. Beyond her performances, Mohan is a significant figure in the promotion and presentation of Indian classical dance. She is the Founder and Creative Director of Tat Tvam Asi, a boutique art organization based in Austin, Texas, dedicated to curating and presenting the works of internationally acclaimed Indian classical dancers touring the United States. Her commitment to the art form extends to her role as a Co-curator for the Erasing Borders Dance Festival in New York. In 2019, she was recognized by the prestigious Jacob's Pillow, being invited as one of 15 young dance presenters in the United States. Mohan also contributes to cultural outreach as the Cultural Committee Chair and Trustee of the Austin Hindu Temple, where she has been instrumental in creating initiatives to showcase the spiritual beauty of Indian classical dance and other temple arts. She actively promotes and educates a wide audience about Indian Classical Dance through her writings and appearances on radio and TV talk shows.
