Perth-based dancer and teacher Sindhu Nair is a Bharatanatyam and Mohiniyattam practitioner, guru, choreographer, and artist. She was awarded WA’s Multicultural Artist of the Year 2025 and the Mahila Ratnam Award in 2024. She served as Cultural Advisor for the ballet La Bayadère: The Temple Dancer and is involved in major cultural events like choreographing for the Indian Society of WA’s Diwali Mela and organizing a mega Thiruvathira. She is devoted to preserving and evolving classical dance and music.
