Smt. Padmapriya Prakash is a distinguished Indian classical dancer, teacher, and dance critic, primarily known for her expertise in Bharatanatyam. Based in Dubai, UAE, she is a senior disciple of the renowned Kalaimamani Ranganayaki Jayaraman. Padmapriya Prakash has dedicated over two decades to training students, having commenced her teaching career around the year 2000. She is the artistic director of NardanaPriya Academy in Dubai, an institution fostering Indian classical dance. Throughout her illustrious career, Smt. Padmapriya Prakash has garnered several prestigious accolades. She was honored with the title 'Bharatanatya Divya Mayuri' by the legendary playback singer Sri P.B. Sreenivos. Her own guru, Kalaimamani Ranganayaki Jayaraman, conferred upon her the titles 'Bharatakalaratnam' and 'Natya Tilakam'. She is also recognized as a graded Doordarshan artist, a testament to her performing prowess. Beyond her individual achievements, her choreographic work has also received recognition; her team, "SOOKSHMA AVATARAM," was awarded "Best Co-ordination in Dance" at Pradarshan 2018 Dubai.
