Guru Sreeliji Sreedharan is a distinguished Bharatanatyam dancer and teacher, known for her profound training and extensive performance career. She commenced her Bharatanatyam studies at the tender age of four under Guru Sudha Vinu, a disciple of the renowned Dhananjayans. Her foundational training was further solidified at the prestigious Rukmini Devi College of Fine Arts, Kalakshetra, Chennai, where she earned both a First Class Diploma and a Post Graduate Diploma in Bharatanatyam. Sreeliji has graced numerous stages worldwide as a member of the Kalakshetra Repertory Company, performing at significant events such as The National Games, the Soorya Festival, and the 125th birth anniversary celebrations of Jawaharlal Nehru in Delhi. Currently, she serves as a highly regarded Bharatanatyam Guru at the Singapore Indian Fine Arts Society (SIFAS), a position she has held since July 2015. At SIFAS, she is a regular participant in productions like 'Prakruti Vikruti' and 'Natya Yatra' and has also performed for the Darshana Series, an initiative by Apsaras Arts Dance Company. Under her tutelage, many students at SIFAS have achieved accolades and 'Best Student' awards.
