Bhagavathula Srinivasa Sarma B H is a prominent Kuchipudi dancer, teacher, and choreographer hailing from Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, India. He belongs to the esteemed Bhagavathula family, a lineage deeply rooted in the Kuchipudi tradition. His father, Guru Sri Bhagavathula Yagnanarayana Sarma, was a recipient of the THAGUR RATNA PURASKAR for his contributions to Kuchipudi dance. His mother, Smt Lakshmi Tulasi Brindavana, is the daughter of the legendary Kuchipudi artist Sri Mahankali SatyaNarayana Sarma. Srinivasa Sarma received his initial training in Kuchipudi dance under the tutelage of the revered Guru Padmabhushan Dr. Vempati Chinna Satyam. He also trained under Balakka for the dance ballet 'KSHEERA SAGARA MADHANAM'. He made a significant performance in 'KSHEERA SAGARA MADHANAM' conducted by SIDDHHENDRA KALAKSHETRAM in 1984. Throughout his career, he has showcased his versatility by performing in all three traditional Kuchipudi formats: solos, Yakshaganas, and Nrutya Natikas. Beyond his performing career, Srinivasa Sarma is recognized for his talents as a teacher and choreographer, having choreographed numerous dance ballets. He founded the 'Sri Sai Ram Nrutya Art Acadamy' in Vijayawada, contributing to the propagation of Kuchipudi. Academically, he holds a Masters Degree in Public Administration, Diplomas in Mridangam and Kuchipudi, and a Certificate in Bharata Natyam. He was also appointed in a cultural quota at S.C. Rly Vijayawada.
