Srishti Upasana Sahu is an emerging Odissi dancer from Mumbai, India, recognized for her graceful performances. She hails from an artistic family, with her mother, Stuti Sahu, being the Director of Tarijhum, In Search of Excellence in Performing Arts, an institution dedicated to promoting Odissi in Mumbai. Srishti began her Odissi training at the age of eight under the tutelage of the late Guru Shri Natabar Maharana. She continues her advanced training with her mother, a senior disciple of Guru Natabar Maharana, and also receives formal and professional guidance from Shri Lingaraj Pradhan, a senior teacher at Rudraksha Foundation in Bhubaneswar. Sahu has demonstrated her academic prowess in dance by passing Sangeet Bhushan in Odissi with a first class and distinction in practical, and is currently pursuing Sangeet Visharad under Pracheen Kala Kendra, Chandigarh. Throughout her career, Srishti has performed solo in various prestigious auditoriums in Mumbai, including Birla Matoshree, Lala Lajpat Rai auditorium, Tejpal hall, and S.N.D.T. university auditorium. She has also graced national and international symposiums at prominent institutions such as the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, IIT Bombay, and the Regional Research Laboratory in Bhubaneswar. As a child artist, she performed in numerous Odissi dance ballets staged in renowned Mumbai auditoriums like Ravindra Natya Mandir and Nehru Centre Auditorium, where her portrayal of young Radha in the dance ballet "ShreeRadha" by Tarijhum was particularly well-received. In 2024, Srishti Upasana Sahu performed a "Devgandhari Pallavi" at the Biswa Odissi Utsav (Odissi International) in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, and was honored with the Odissi Prativa Award (U20) at the same event. She has also been noted for her performances at Odissi International while based in the USA, where she pursued Neuro-Biology at the University of Wisconsin.
