Suchetha Raghuram is an accomplished Indian classical dancer specializing in Kuchipudi, who also has a strong foundation in Kathak. She commenced her Kuchipudi training at the age of twelve under the tutelage of Guru Smt. Manju Bharggavee, whose encouragement fostered her deep passion for the art form. Raghuram successfully completed her junior level examination with a first-class distinction from the KSEE Board. Over a period of fifteen years, she has extensively toured and performed in numerous shows across India, showcasing her versatility and expressiveness as a dancer. Her notable performances include appearances at prestigious events such as Alva's Vishwa Nudisiri Virasat Vedike in Mangalore in 2013, Nada Neerajanam Vedike in Thirumala in 2012, and the Bramhotsava at ISKON temple in Bangalore in 2009. She also participated in various inter-college festivals in Bangalore between 1990 and 1998, and has performed in cities like Hyderabad, Tirupathi, and Chennai. In addition to Kuchipudi, Suchetha Raghuram developed an interest in Kathak, receiving her foundational training from Guru Smt. Chitra Venugopal at Bharathiya Vidya Bhavan, Bangalore. Her Kathak skills were further refined under the guidance of Guru Bharathi Vittal, leading to the successful completion of her junior diploma examination in the style. Beyond her dance pursuits, Raghuram is recognized for her leadership qualities and team spirit. She is also familiar with Carnatic Music. An adventurous individual, she is an accomplished mountaineer, having completed the Inner and Outer Kora parikrama of Mount Kailas. Academically, Suchetha Raghuram holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering, Bangalore, and currently practices as an architect, specializing in the design of hospitals, schools, and residential buildings.
