Suhasini Muthukrishnan is a Bharatanatyam dancer, choreographer, and guru, known for her multi-talented approach to classical and folk dances. She received her comprehensive training at the internationally renowned Kalakshetra, where she also completed her schooling and a Bachelor's degree in Commerce. During her formative years, she had the privilege of working with and being mentored by esteemed figures in Indian classical dance, including Prof. Shri. C.V. Chandrashekhar, The Dhananjayans, Late. Smt. Krishnaveni Lakshmanan, Smt. Ambika. S. Buch, Ms. Lakshmi Vishwanathan, Shri. G. Narendra, Smt. Radhika Surjit, Actor Vineeth, and L. Narendra Kumar. She is also a direct disciple of Prof. Shri. C.V. Chandrasekhar, Smt. Jaya Chandrasekhar, and Smt. Manjari. With over 15 years of performing experience worldwide, Suhasini Muthukrishnan has established herself as a dedicated performer and choreographer. Her choreographic works include "Navarasa Bharathi," based on Mahakavi Shri. Subramanya Bharathy's poems, and pieces for events like the FeTNA Convention and Sri Annamacharya Day celebrations. In 2017, she was recognized as an empaneled artist by the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) and is a member of the International Dance Council CID at UNESCO. Suhasini Muthukrishnan is the founder of Sharmadayini Academy, where she imparts her knowledge of Bharatanatyam, emphasizing proper understanding, strong technique, and a high standard of excellence, fostering a positive and enriching learning experience for her students.
