Dr. Sujata Mishra is an Odissi dancer from Odisha, India. She is recognized as a noted Odissi dancer and a guru in the classical dance form. Dr. Mishra led a 10-member Odissi dance troupe from India for performances, including a cultural event in Nepal in 2018 to celebrate diplomatic ties between India and Nepal. She also presented 'Nayika' at the 3rd International Odissi Festival in Bhubaneswar in 2006 and performed 'Gitagobinda' at the DEBANGANA NRUTYA SAMAGAM-2016. Her daughter, Subhangi Mishra, is also an Odissi dancer, indicating Sujata Mishra's role as a teacher and lineage holder in the art form.
