Sushant Jadhav is an accomplished Indian classical dancer, primarily recognized as a Kathak artiste and a prominent figure in contemporary Indian classical dance. He holds a Diploma in Kathak from SNDT University. Jadhav is a director of Sankhya Dance Company, which is noted as a leading professional classical dance company based in western India. His career as a freelancing Kathak artiste has seen him perform extensively, with tours across the USA, Japan, Taiwan, and numerous cities within India. Beyond his performances, Jadhav plays a crucial role in the creative and administrative operations of Sankhya Dance Company. He has a significant collaborative history with fellow dancer and choreographer Vaibhav Arekar, where he has contributed as a technical manager and dramaturge for various productions. Their joint ventures include acclaimed dance dramas such as "Urvashi," and the widely toured productions "Namo Gurjari Namostute" and "Usha Aniruddha," which have collectively achieved over 100 shows, including performances in the USA. Jadhav's experience also extends to working with other notable dance institutions, including Hema Malini's Natyavihar Kalakendra and the Sachin Shankar ballet unit. He has expressed a deep-seated passion for dance and a strong inclination towards classical dance since his childhood.
