Sushma Yechuri is an accomplished Kuchipudi classical dancer, teacher, and the founder of Kalamandapam Kuchipudi Dance School in Seattle, Washington. She began her journey in this art form at the age of seven, receiving her training from Guru Smt. P. Rajeswari in Warangal, India. Smt. P. Rajeswari is a direct disciple of the legendary Kuchipudi guru, Padma Bhushan Vempati Chinna Satyam Garu. Sushma Yechuri is also the daughter of the late Sri Padmanabham, a veteran actor in the Telugu film industry. With over 17 years of experience, Yechuri has performed in numerous ballets and shows across the USA. She established Kalamandapam Kuchipudi Dance School, which started with a modest three students and has since trained many dancers. She has been actively teaching Kuchipudi for the past 12 years, demonstrating a strong passion for nurturing the next generation of dancers. Her daughters, Anika Yechuri and Nithika Yechuri, are also accomplished Kuchipudi dancers and serve as instructors at Kalamandapam Kuchipudi Dance School.
