Swathi Raghavan is an Indian classical dancer specializing in Bharatanatyam, who began her training at the age of ten. She received her Bharatanatyam education from Mamta Desai and subsequently from Selvi Sarkar. Raghavan has showcased her talent in various festivals across France, India, and Italy. In addition to her dance pursuits, she has also been practicing Carnatic singing since she was eighteen years old, with an expressed interest in transmitting her knowledge to others. Her performances include traditional compositions such as "Thodaya Mangalam," which invokes blessings from Vishnu and Lakshmi. She has also collaborated with Aneesh Raghavan on "Nrtyasangama," a performance that gracefully blends Odissi and Bharatanatyam, celebrating India's rich classical dance heritage. These performances have been presented at venues like the Sri Aurobindo Institute of Culture and Bharat Nivas Auroville in Pondicherry.
