Vanaj Vidhya Renuha is a distinguished Bharatanatyam artist, educator, and the visionary founder of Natyakshetra Vidhyalaya – Dance the Divine. With over two decades of experience in Bharatanatyam and Carnatic vocals, she has dedicated her career to preserving and promoting the rich legacy of this classical Indian dance form. Mrs. Renuha has been honored with the title of "Kalathilagam" and has received numerous national and international awards for her significant contributions to the arts. Her teaching methodology at Natyakshetra Vidhyalaya, which she founded on July 24, 2024, is deeply rooted in traditional lineage and discipline. She emphasizes structured learning methodologies and a profound focus on expression and artistry, guiding students to master Bharatanatyam with technique, rhythm, and grace. Vanaj Vidhya Renuha received her advanced technique training under the tutelage of the renowned Varnam expert Kalaimamani Madurai Muralidharan, a highly acclaimed dance guru, composer, and choreographer known for his extensive contributions to Bharatanatyam. This rigorous training under a master has enabled her to bring advanced technical instruction into her classes. Based in Moorabool Shire, Australia, Vanaj Vidhya Renuha's passion extends beyond performance and teaching. She is an active member of the PACAC Arts Advisory Committee for Moorabool Shire, demonstrating her commitment to fostering arts and culture within her local community.
