Ventrapragada Nuthna Ananya is a young and talented Indian classical dancer specializing in Kuchipudi. Born on October 11, 2010, she began her training at a young age under the tutelage of her mother, Vani Bhavani, who is also a Kuchipudi dancer and taught her abhinaya. Ananya is a disciple of the esteemed senior Guru Dr. Maddali Usha Gayatri. She has demonstrated remarkable talent, performing since at least the age of 11. In May 2022, she performed Kuchipudi on 'Annamacharya Keerthanalu' alongside her mother at Ravindra Bharathi in Hyderabad. A Class 9 student, she is a scholarship awardee of CTSS and CCRT. Ananya is particularly noted for her unique presentation of the Bhagavad Gita through dance. In January 2026, she performed a solo recital titled 'Geetha Saaram – Sloka Recitation and Nrutyabhinaya' at Ravindra Bharathi, where she recited 54 selected slokas from the Bhagavad Gita from memory and simultaneously enacted their meanings through Kuchipudi. For this endeavor, she learned the complete recitation of all 700 slokas of the Gita under Gita Acharya Sri Kripalu. Beyond dance, Ananya has anchored television programs for children and is also learning to play the violin and undergoing training in vocal music. She maintains a YouTube channel, 'Gita Nrithyam,' aimed at inspiring children to learn the Gita. Her performances have been praised for their emotive abhinaya and graceful nritta, conveying both thrilling battlefield scenes and elevated spiritual emotions.
