Vinusakini Rajarajan commenced her Bharatanatyam training in Sri Lanka at the age of five under the tutelage of Smt. Thiruveni Shankar. Upon relocating to Melbourne, Australia, she continued her dance education with Smt. Ushanthini Sripathmanathan. Her journey further progressed under the guidance of Smt. Lakshanya Siddarth at Natya Praana, a school of Indian Classical Dance in Melbourne. Rajarajan has demonstrated a profound passion for Bharatanatyam, consistently striving for perfection in her art form. In 2024, she successfully completed her Arangetram, marking her graduation from Natya Praana under the mentorship of Smt. Lakshanya Siddarth. Beyond her performance skills, Vini has also pursued Nattuvangam classes at Natya Praana, showcasing a strong grasp of Layam. Her artistic development has been further enriched by attending workshops and masterclasses with renowned artists such as Smt. Rukmini Vijayakumar, Sri Parshwanath Upadhye, Smt. Priyadarsini Govind, and Smt. S. Divyasena. In addition to dance, Rajarajan has studied Carnatic vocal and violin for several years under Sri Ahilan Sivanandan, which has significantly enhanced her understanding of Natyam and Abhinaya. She has performed at various community events, including the Thai Pongal Festival, Melbourne Talkies' Bharathiyar drama, Melbourne Trinity festivals, and temple festivals. She is also listed as a teacher on NatyaNetwork.
