Our Director- Founder and Teacher Mrs.Amrita Mukherjee is a Trained Classical Kathak Dancer with 20+ years of experience. She is a Sangeet Ratna in Kathak and Sangeet Bhaskar in Bharatnatyam. She founded "Rhythmic Vibe" in 2019, based in Burlington (Ontario) Canada. She and her Students have performed at various events across Canada and India. She began her training in a small town in India at the age of 7 with Bharatnatyam under Ashok Nandi and Meena Nandi - disciple of "Shri.Uday Shankar" and later pursued Kathak dancing under Shri. Vipul Chandra Das. Presently she is a disciple of Guru Smt. Moli Siddharth, who is the prime disciple of "Pandit.Birju Maharaj", also the Founder-Director of "Kalaangan" Academy based in Mumbai, India. She believes "Learning is a lifelong process of keeping your mind open to new ideas and experiences" and She sets an exemplary standard as a student and teacher, marked by dedication, discipline, and passion.
