Dr. Geeta Radhakrishna Menon was an eminent Mohiniyattam dancer, scholar, teacher, choreographer, and writer, actively involved in the performing arts for over five decades. Initiated to dance — Learned Bharatanatyam under Guru Venkatesh in Cochin and Coimbatore.
Higher Education — Completed B.Sc from Mercy College in Palakkad, Kerala.
Mohiniyattam Training — Learned Mohiniyattam at Kerala Kalamandalam under Kalamandalam Kalyani Kutty Amma and Kalamandalam Satyabhama.
Legal Education — Completed LLB from Government Law College in Mumbai.
Founded Dance Academy — Established Mohiniatta Nritya Kalakshetra in Mumbai.
Doctorate Degree — Acquired a doctorate degree in dance with the thesis 'Narayaneeyam - Philosophy, Bhakti and Aesthetics' from Mumbai University.
Received Senior Fellowship — Received a senior fellowship from the Ministry of Culture, Government of India.
Authored Books — Wrote 'Mohiniattam Adavus', 'Mohiniattam - dance of the enchantress', 'Ananda Natana Tandavam', 'Jai Jai Natana Ganesha', 'Devi Mahatmayam', 'Prakriti Nrityam', Jayadeva's Ashtapadis, a book on Mahatma Gandhi, 'Shree Hanumaan Chaalisaa', 'Jaydeva's Geeta Govinda - A love Song', 'Ahimsa Truth Love - An Anthology', 'Dr. Albert Einstein - The Super Star Scientist', and 'Rejuvenating Reiki Meditation'.
