Hamsa is a keen explorer of the classical dance form of Bharathanatyam who loves to experiment within the traditional framework of the art form. She has won acclaim for her sensitive and in-depth portrayal of any subject that she chooses to present. Hamsa runs the Samskriti School of Dance in Sydney which is a creative hub of personalities nurturing dancers of all ages to look at dance as not merely a hobby or art form but a way of life. Her inate teaching qualities makes her sought after in the local community. She is also a teacher of English at Pymble Ladies College, Sydney.
