Kalpita is a professional choreographer, instructor and performer from Delhi who has recently relocated to London. Whilst her specialism is Kathak, she has also been trained in a variety of Indian and non-Indian dance styles. A former Finalist on ‘So You Think You Can Dance’ and Semi-Finalist on ‘Dance Deewane 2’, Kalpita has danced for a whole host of Celebrities, including Madhuri Dixit & the A.R. Rahman World Tour. Her unique blend of Semi-Classical is rooted in her Kathak training, however her vast experience as a contemporary dancer and performer allow her to seemlessly incorporate Bollywood Cinematic dance into her choreographies.
