1994
Inspired by Alarmel Valli's Bharatanatyam performance — Saw Alarmel Valli perform at the Khajuraho Dance Festival, leading her to pursue Indian dance.
1994-2000
Training in Indian Classical Dance — Trained in Bharatanatyam at Kalakshetra and Kathakali at Kerala Kalamandalam and Margi.
2000
Began teaching and founded company — Started teaching Indian classical performing arts in Spain and founded her Dance-Theatre Company Mónica de la Fuente.
2016
Associate Director and Choreographer for "Kijote Kathakali" — Contributed to the theatre production "Kijote Kathakali" directed by Nacho Garcia.
2017
Received Nrtya Nivedita Award — Awarded by the Global Council for Arts and Culture of UNESCO.
2019
Received ICCR Distinguished Alumni Award — Honored by the Indian Council for Cultural Relations, Government of India.

Co-produced "Praana, en busca del aire perdido" — An international dance-theatre creation.
