1998
Kathakali training at Kerala Kalamandalam — Moved to Kerala Kalamandalam to pursue Kathakali training under Kalamandalam Balasubramanian.
1999
Attended Kudiyattam festival — Attended a Kudiyattam festival at Kerala Kalamandalam, organized by Sangeet Natak Akademi.

Traveled to Myanmar for research — Traveled to Myanmar in March to learn traditional Burmese harp, tracing the migration of ancient Indian harp system.
