Became Raja of Raigarh — Succeeded to the throne of Raigarh after the death of his elder brother, Raja Natwar Singh.
1930s
Patronage of Kathak Gurus — Pandit Jayalal Maharaj of Jaipur Gharana adorned his court as Nritya-acharya. Acchan Maharaj of Lucknow Gharana also blessed his court.
1938
Headed All India Music Conference — Headed the first All India Music Conference held at Allahabad, attending with a team of 60 artists.
1939
Awarded Sangeet Samrat — Conferred the title 'Sangeet Samrat' (King of Music) by Viceroy Lord Linlithgow at a music festival organized to welcome the Viceroy.
1943
Performed at Khairagarh conference — Played tabla for Kalyan Das's dance performance at a music conference in Khairagarh.
1947
Died — Died on October 7.
