Trained under Shri Adyar Lakshman with scholarship

Awarded Best Young Bharatanatyam Dancer — Received at the Tamil Isal Sangam's annual All India Dance Festival.

International Performances — Performed in Belgium, Amsterdam, Hamburg, Edinburgh, and Paris.

1977

Performances in India — Performed for the Indian Music Society in Delhi, NCPA Bombay, and Bombay Television.

1978

Festival Performances — Selected to perform at the second Annual Festival of Dance at Khajuraho temples and for the National Arts Festival.
