Journey Timeline
1982
Began formal dance training — Under a disciple of the Dhananjayan couple.
1984
Performed Arangetram — At Guruvayoor Srikrishna temple.
1985
Advanced training under Dhananjayans and Kalanidhi Narayanan
1986
Began learning Mohiniyattam — In October.
1987
Founded Dharani School of Performing Arts — Also started teaching Bharatanatyam.
1989
Started teaching Mohiniyattam
1999
Formed Society Dharani — To host performances and lecture demonstrations.
2005
Received Kerala Sangeetha Nataka Akademi Award — For contribution to Mohiniyattam.
2012
Received Sri Ramakrishna Seva Puraskaram — For outstanding contribution in performing arts.
2014/15
Received 'Vocational Excellence Award' — From Rotary Club of Cochin Queen.
2016
Inaugurated Sathi Kamala Hall — A mini-theater and classroom at Dharani.
2017
Received Nruthya Kala Ratna award and Kalasagar Award — Nruthya Kala Ratna from U Rise Vedic Sangeetha Academy, Kalasagar Award for Mohiniyattom.
2019
Received Future Kerala Educational Excellence Awards — For consistent efforts and contribution to Classical Arts Education.
