With pleasure I introduce myself to you. I am Sitra (Sitrawatie) Bonoo and it is my passion for Indian dance, it's elegance, it's history and it's spirituality, that drives me to pass this artform on to my students in various ways. I give Indian dance and music lessons and I love to perform myself. In the past I have released several CD's. I helped several people to graduate in Indian dance and guided their debut performances. I have organised several study trips to India and the release of my book about teaching Indian Dance in the Netherlands is coming up. In this book I will tell more about the traditional methods of translating Indian dance in the the daily practice in the Netherlands and Western setting. At this moment I am establishing a conservatory in Indiance dance in collaboration with initiators in India.
