Mangat Mulaykkal Thankamani, known by her married name Thankamani Gopinath (1918–1990), was a pioneering Indian Mohiniyattam dancer and influential dance teacher from Kerala. Left Kalamandalam — Left Kerala Kalamandalam after her marriage.

Married Guru Gopinath — Married Guru Gopinath in September 1936.
1941
Film debut in "Prahlada" — Starred as Kayathu and sang a song in the Malayalam movie "Prahlada".
1960
Retired from dance — Took a formal bow from dance by 1960 to devote time to her family.
1990
Died — Passed away on December 28, 1990.
