1952-1956
Training at Kerala Kalamandalam — Learned Mohiniyattam and Bharatanatyam.
1958
Marriage and move to Kolkata — Married Govindan Kutty and moved to Kolkata, beginning her performing and teaching career in Bengal.
1968
Co-founded Kalamandalam Calcutta — Established Kalamandalam Calcutta with her husband, Guru Govindan Kutty.
1982
First International Tour — Toured Japan and Thailand with Kalamandalam.
