1950
Associated with Nrityashram — Associated with Nrityashram, a pioneering Manipuri dance institute, from its inception.
1953
First solo performance — Performed her Manipuri solo dance “Abhimanyu” at Bharatiya Kala Kendra, Delhi.
1954
Joined Jawaharlal Nehru Manipur Dance Academy (JNMDA) — Joined JNMDA and performed as a cultural delegate in the Soviet Union.
1985
Received State Kala Akademi Award — Honoured by the Government of Manipur.
1986
Joined SPICMACAY — Became part of SPICMACAY, giving lec-dems.
1999
Received Nritya Bhushan — Awarded by Manipur Sahitya Parishad.
2003
Received Sangeet Natak Akademi Award — Honoured by the Indian Government for her contribution to Manipuri dance.
2006
Retired from JNMDA — Retired as a Production Assistant from the Jawaharlal Nehru Manipur Dance Academy.
