Began formal training in Dance and Music. — Started learning at age five or six.
c. 1926
Performed as Prahlada in Prahlada Yakshagana. — Won a gold medal at age seven.
1931
Appeared in the female role of Usha Kanya.
1932
Performed Balagopal Tarangam and Usha in Usha Natakam dance-drama in Madras.
1937
Appeared in the film 'Mohini Rukmangada'.
1939
Began career as a dance choreographer in films. — Worked on films like Raithu Bidda.
1951
Made directorial and production debut with Stree Sahasamu. — Co-owner of Vinodha Pictures.
1964
Honored with "Bharata Kala Prapurna" title. — Awarded by the Andhra Pradesh Sangeetha Nataka Academy; also nominated as President of the National Dance Festival.
1971
Passed away. — Died on October 19, 1971 (some sources state October 9, 1971).
2019
Centenary celebrations held in Hyderabad.
