Obtained Bachelor of Arts degree with first-class honors from Bhatkhande Music University

Obtained Master of Arts degree at the University of Visual and Performing Arts, Colombo
2017
Joined Sri Lanka Army Dance Team as the first female Major and spearheaded the creation of an Indian Dance Team
2023
Her students, Chithreena Medis and Thelma Medis, became the first mother-daughter duo to conduct a Kathak dance stage performance in Sri Lanka
