Ananya Dance Theatre is an ensemble of transnational feminist professional dance artists founded by Ananya Chatterjea in 2005. They create original contemporary dance theater at the intersection of artistic excellence and social justice, inspired by the lives and dreams of BIPOC women and femmes globally. Their unique dance language, Yorchhā™, reweaves techniques from traditional Odissi, the martial art Chhau, and Vinyasa Yoga.
