Kadri Nrithya Vidya Nilaya is the district's oldest dance school, established in 1936 by the legendary U S Krishna Rao, fondly known as 'Raja Master', for imparting training in Bharatanatyam. His son, U K Praveen, and daughter-in-law, Usha Praveen, later took over as directors of the institution.
