Koothambalam is an Indian classical dance academy founded in 1966 in Chennai by Natyacharya (late) S. Aravindan, an alumnus of Kalakshetra. The institution later shifted to Coimbatore in 1995 and is currently headed by Kala Aacharya Guru Smt. Vasantha Aravindan. It teaches Bharatanatyam, Mohiniyattam, Kuchipudi, and Kathakali.
