SRUTI, The India Music and Dance Society, is a non-profit 501(C)(3) organization founded in 1986 in the Philadelphia region by a group of enthusiasts, including M.M. Subramaniam. Its principal mission is to promote and present Indian classical music and dance and to educate the community about Indian arts. The society has presented renowned artists and dance companies in various classical Indian dance forms, including Bharatanatyam and Kathakali.
