The Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre (SVCC) in Paramaribo, established in 1978 by the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), is the oldest Indian Cultural Centre of ICCR in South America. It aims to foster cultural exchange between India and Suriname, offering classes in Kathak and Bharatanatyam dance, Hindi, music, and yoga. The Centre also hosts various cultural programs, lectures, and workshops.
