Aishwaryaa Verma is a contemporary Indian classical Kathak dancer, choreographer, and educator, recognized as one of Delhi's respected practitioners of the art form. She holds an MA degree in Kathak and began her dance journey at the age of six, receiving initial training from Shakti Singh. Her professional training continued under the guidance of esteemed gurus such as Pt. Rajendra Gangani, Prerna Shrimali, and Gauri Diwakar. With over 20 years of learning experience and more than 15 years of performing experience, Aishwaryaa Verma has graced national and international stages. Notably, she has performed in the Indian musical Broadway production of Mughal-e-Azam. Her solo Kathak production, "Raktabha," which explores the multifaceted shades of red and womanhood, premiered in Chennai in July 2026. She has also been featured by the New York Kathak Festival in their HomeStages series. Verma is the founder and artistic director of Aaharyam Nrityashaala Dance Foundation, an academy based in Noida, which has grown to train over 150 students. She also leads the Aishwarya Verma Dance Company. Through her institution and performances, she aims to express herself and foster a deeper understanding of life through Kathak, giving the classical form a contemporary edge.
