🪔 About

Ambaree Rege is a Bharatanatyam dancer and educator with a strong academic foundation in Indian classical dance. She holds a Master's degree in dance and has earned the Nrityavisharad qualification from Gandharva Mahavidyalaya, a respected institution for Indian classical arts. Her dedication to the art form extends to her teaching career, which spans over eight years. This includes three years of experience imparting dance knowledge in school settings and an additional five years teaching in various dance studios. Ambaree Rege offers Bharatanatyam classes to students of all levels, providing both in-person instruction in the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) area of India and accessible online lessons. Beyond her pedagogical contributions, she is an active performer and choreographer. Her performance credits include a 'Brindavani Thillana' piece, which she choreographed and performed with Harika Garikipati for Aaja Nachle NZ. Furthermore, in March 2024, Ambaree Rege was a featured performer in 'Yāṉum - Fragments of Femininity,' a contemporary Bharatanatyam production presented by Artham Dance Company NZ. Her involvement with dance organizations in New Zealand, such as Aaja Nachle NZ and Artham Dance Company NZ, indicates her engagement with the classical dance community in Auckland, New Zealand.
