Guru Takhelchangbam Amudon Sharma (born November 25, 1886, in Imphal, Manipur; died March 16, 1976, in Imphal) was an eminent guru of Manipuri dance, recognized as one of the "Trimurti Gurus" who significantly uplifted Manipuri Raas. Hailing from a family of traditional Rasdharis of Manipur, he received early training in Manipuri dancing and Pung playing from reputed masters, including his father's elder brother, Ojah Kanhai Sharma. He also learned martial arts such as Thang-Ta and Mulna kangiei from his father. Sharma began performing in Raslila from his childhood and quickly established himself as a talented dancer. Following his family tradition, he started teaching dance at an early age. He served as the Raasdhari of Shri Govinda during the reigns of Maharaj Churachand, Bodhachandra, and Okendrajit, and was also the Pungyeiba Hanjaba of Bamon Pala of the palace. His teaching methods at the Shri Shri Govindajee Nartanalaya (Govt. Dance College) are still influential today. He also served as an honorary Principal of Govindaji Nartanalaya and as a teacher at Parimal Academy and the Jawaharlal Nehru Dance Akademi. His contributions to Manipuri dance were widely recognized, earning him several prestigious titles and awards.
