Dr. Jyoti Bharti Goswami is a nationally acclaimed Kathak dancer, recognized as one of the most accomplished of her generation and ranked among the finest Kathak dancers in Rajasthan. She holds a Vishaarad in Kathak, which she obtained from the Evening Music College in Shimla, an institution affiliated with the prestigious Bhatkande Sangeet Vidyapeeth, Lucknow. Her training in Kathak was under the tutelage of the renowned dancer, Mrs. Ella Pandey. Dr. Goswami serves as an Assistant Professor of Kathak Dance at the Rajasthan Sangeet Sansthan, Government PG College, Jaipur. She is also associated with the India International Institute of Kathak Dance and Music in Jaipur. As a performer, she has mesmerized audiences with her unique ability to harmonize aesthetics, rhythm, music, and a sense of time and space. Her dedication to the art form extends to her role as a Guru, guiding and shaping the next generation of Kathak dancers. She has also contributed to academic discourse, authoring an article on the nuances of a successful dance performance. Dr. Goswami has been a panelist in symposiums on Indian classical dance and has participated in online Kathak sessions with maestros.
