Keka Sinha is an eminent and established Kathak dance artiste, choreographer, and guru based in Mumbai, India, with over 35 years of experience in the field of classical dance. She is a distinguished disciple of Nritya Shiromani Guru Bandana Sen and Guru Reba Vidyarthi, both of whom were direct disciples of the renowned Late Pandit Shambhu Maharajji of the Lucknow Gharana. Sinha holds a 'Sangeet Prabhakar' degree in Kathak from Prayag Sangeet Samiti, Allahabad, and has been honored with the 'Singar Mani' award by Sur Singar Samsad, Mumbai. She is recognized for her performances as a soloist and for her work in dance ballets. Keka Sinha has represented India as a Cultural Delegate at the XIII World Youth Festival in North Korea and has performed at numerous prestigious festivals both in India and internationally. A creative choreographer, she has conceptualized and choreographed several dance-ballets independently and for institutions like Nehru Centre Mumbai. Sinha is a graded artiste of television, an empanelled artiste of Doordarshan and EZCC (East Zone Cultural Centre), and a member of the regional selection committee of CCRT (Centre for Cultural Resources & Training, Govt. of India). She regularly imparts training to young aspirants in Bandra, Mumbai, and is the founder of Kalapi, also known as Kalapi Centre for Performing Arts. Awards & Honours: Sangeet Prabhakar, Singar Mani.
