Kum. Ananya Srikanth is an emerging Bharatanatyam dancer, known for her dedication to the classical art form. She is a devoted disciple of Smt. Akshara Bharadwaj, under whose guidance she has honed her skills and performed extensively. Ananya has demonstrated academic excellence in her dance training, having completed her Madhya Pura from the Akila Bharatya Gandharva Maha Vidya Mandal and achieving a distinction in the junior grade Bharatanatyam examination conducted by the Karnataka Secondary Education Board. Further enriching her understanding of the art, she participated in a Natuangam workshop conducted by Yes viasa deemed to be university, under the tutelage of Vidhwan Pulikishi Kasuri. Her formal debut, the Bharatanatyam Rangapravesha, was streamed in 2025, marking a significant milestone in her artistic journey. Ananya has showcased her talent through numerous solo and group performances across various prestigious platforms. She was honored with the "Natya Mani" title at the Akila Bharata Canada Sahitya Samana in Tumur Kosur Natyanjali. Her performance repertoire includes appearances at the Sadana Sangama Janmashti festival by Iskon, a solo recital at the Sasta Prii Festival in Palakar, Kerala, and participation in the children's classical dance festival Natya on Shri Shankarat TV. She has also graced events such as Tarangaranga, hosted by the Lassia Vardana Trust, dance jhatri at the Shambi School of Dance, and annual day programs organized by the structural school of fine arts. A notable achievement includes her participation in "Dance for India," an event recognized by the Bharat Book of Records. Beyond her primary focus on Bharatanatyam, Ananya is a versatile individual, pursuing other creative and intellectual endeavors. She has completed her grade 2 piano examination from the London College of Music, studying under Sri Rajnish, and has achieved the grandmaster level in Abacus under Shrimati Sushila through SIP Abacus. Additionally, she studies yoga as an allied discipline under Shrimati Sinchina Pandit at the structural school of fine arts, complementing her rigorous dance practice. Awards & Honours: Natya Mani.
